Eco Friendly Christmas Crafting

Hallo zu einem ganz besonderem Blog Hop – wie der Titel schon vermuten lässt, hüpfen wir heute ökologisch verantwortungsvoll. Plastikfrei schenken ist das Motto heute (man kann aber auch Plastik zB schön upcyclen, aber vielleicht dazu ein anderes Mal).

Ich hatte echt überlegt was ich mache. Letztes Jahr hab ich für Weihnachten ein paar Stoffbeutel genäht als Geschenkverpackung – weil praktisch, kein Plastik und kann wiederverwendet werden. Aber Nähen ist halt irgendwie nicht für jeden was. Für heuer bleib ich aber wohl überwiegend bei den Milchtüten. Wie die gemacht werden, hab ich HIER schon mal gezeigt.

Hello and welcome to a special Blog Hop on this Sunday – environmentally sustainable crafting it is for today. We want to show a way of plastic-free giving. Last year I made sewed cotton bags – fast made and easy to reuse. This year I will stick to the milk cartons (you can here see how I made them – it’s in German, but there are pictures 🙂 – it’s quite simple – wash, cut off about 1/3, crumble so you can easier pull off the coating – roll it over two times … that’s all).

Meine gewählte Farbkombi: Espresso, Chili und Savanne.

Der Kreis ist der größte Kreis aus den Stanzformen Stickmuster … vorne drauf dann noch der Nadelbaum (Handstanze) aus dem ich den kleinsten Stern aus den Stanzformen Bestickte Sterne ausgestanzt.

I used Espresso, Cherry Cobbler and Crumb Cake. The circle is from the Stitched Shapes dies, on top it is Pine Tree Punch and the little star is from the Stitched Stars dies.
